I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you again how thrilled I am with the portrait you did of Copper.
I've put it in my living room over the TV set. I can't tell you how many times I've missed huge chunks of whatever program I'm watching, because I find myself just studying and staring at it!
It's not just that it's so beautiful and physically accurate -- it's the spark of his personality that you've captured. The alertness in his eyes, the slight cock to his head -- I see him like this all the time.
I'll treasure it forever. And when he's gone, it will be the anchor for my memories of him and a reminder of how much I loved him.
Thank you so very, very much.
I just wanted to let you know that not a day goes by that I don't look at the picture of Buffy and Quincy on the wall, in my office. Still, to this day both of them look at me with the same silly, dopey grins that you were able to capture in your painting. Magical is the only word I can use to describe the talent of capturing their little personalities.
Thanks Ann, this is a Christmas gift that just keeps on giving.
